Drug and Alcohol Awareness for Supervisors - This course will provide supervisors with the information and tools necessary for their role in implementing Johnson County Government  process for drug and/or alcohol testing of employees involved in work- related motor vehicle accidents or based upon reasonable suspicion of violation of the County’s Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Johnson County Government provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through New Directions which provides confidential professional consultation and short-term counseling for employees and their family members at no charge.

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) - The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) was enacted in 1993 to help employees balance work and life obligations. The FMLA spells out requirements for both the employer and employee.
