Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) - The Mid-America Regional Council, commonly referred to as MARC, serves as the association of city and county governments and the metropolitan planning organization for the bistate Kansas City region.
Johnson County Community College - JCCC provides more than 50 traditional certificate and associate degree programs that lead directly to careers needed in the community. In addition, the Center for Business and Technology provides the latest training available in computer software, information technology, and management and supervisory skills to companies in the metropolitan area.
Innovation Groups (IG) - The purpose of this organization is to assist local government build and sustain the capacity to be innovative. We do this by identifying and removing barriers to innovation by transforming cultures, improving the quality of our thinking and creativity, maximizing technology, and providing a network for leaders in local government.
National Association of Counties - NACo ensures that the nation's 3066 counties are heard and understood in the White House and the halls of Congress. NACo's membership totals more than 2,000 counties, representing over 80 percent of the nation's population.
International Public Management Association for Human Resources - IPMA-HR is an organization that represents the interests of over 7,500 human resource professionals at the Federal, State and Local levels of government. IPMA-HR members consist of ALL levels of public sector HR professionals. IPMA's goal is to provide information and assistance to help HR professionals increase their job performance and overall agency function by providing cost effective products, services and educational opportunities.
Kansas Association of Counties - Advancing the interests of Kansas county governments and the citizens they serve, the Kansas Association of Counties provides legislative representation, leadership and professional education, and identifies resources to address the challenges faced by county government.
