Enrollment Procedures for HR Classes

Minimum enrollment is required for each training session (please see course description for minimum enrollment numbers). Enrollment is checked 5 business days prior to the scheduled training date. If enrollment is below the minimum required enrollment, then HR will cancel the class. Scheduled participants will be notified of the cancellation at least 3 business days prior to the class date by e-mail or phone.

Employees should enroll for HR-sponsored courses through the ORACLE Self Service. When you initially enroll in a HR class, you will be notified by e-mail that your enrollment status is “Requested.” Your status will be changed to “Placed” or “Waitlisted” once it has been approved through your department/agency training approval hierarchy.

If there is a charge associated with the training, your department/agency will be charged by Journal Voucher (JV) after the course is completed.

HR Training Cancellation Policy

The minimum number of participants for courses is indicated in the course description. If a course is canceled due to failure to meet the minimum number of participants, then the class will be cancelled.  Participants will be notified at least 3 business days prior to the class date either by e-mail or phone.

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your enrollment, you should do so through the ORACLE Self Service, a minimum of 5 days before the class begins, so that “Waitlisted” participants can be notified of placement and make arrangements to attend.  If there is a charge for the class, your department/agency will be charged for your attendance if you do not cancel your enrollment according to this policy.  Departments/Agencies will also be charged for individuals who fail to show up for scheduled training.
