New Employee Orientation

New employees are scheduled to attend the first Orientation program following their hire date.  Employees arriving more than 15 minutes late will be invited back to attend another session, in completion, as all of the information presented during orientation is beneficial to the employee.  For more information, please contact the Training Coordinator in HR at 715-1413.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS:  Please contact the Department of Human Resources in advance whenever special accommodations are needed for an employee attending orientation, such as an interpreter or special seating arrangements to accommodate a wheel chair, etc.

BENEFIT ENROLLMENT DEADLINE:
IRS regulations require that employees enroll in their benefits.  New employees must enroll for their benefits within 30 days of the benefit eligibility date.  Failure to do so subjects the employee to restricted or reduced benefits.

2009 ORIENTATION SCHEDULE:

Due to the hiring restrictions New Employee Orientation will be the third Wednesday of the month until further notice.

Other orientations will be scheduled as needed taking into consideration the fluctuating number of new hires due to the hiring restrictions.
