New Employee Orientation

New Employee Orientation is offered the first, third, and fifth Wednesday of every month in the Johnson County Government Administration Building located at 111 South Cherry Street in Olathe, Kansas, Room 0201 (Basement Level), unless otherwise noted. Click here for an updated agenda.

New employees are scheduled to attend the first Orientation program following their hire date.  Employees arriving more than 15 minutes late will be invited back to attend another session, in completion, as all of the information presented during orientation is beneficial to the employee.
For more information, please contact the Training Coordinator in HR at 715-1413.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS:  Please contact the Department of Human Resources in advance whenever special accommodations are needed for an employee attending orientation, such as an interpreter or special seating arrangements to accommodate a wheel chair, etc.

BENEFIT ENROLLMENT DEADLINE:
IRS regulations require that employees enroll in their benefits.  New employees must enroll for their benefits within 30 days of the benefit eligibility date.  Failure to do so subjects the employee to restricted or reduced benefits.
